Every donation helps us care for cats in need across Peterborough. Thank you!

Get in touch

Before contacting us

Peterborough Cat Rescue is run entirely by volunteers, and our cats and kittens are cared for in foster homes. We do not have a public rescue centre, and as foster spaces are often full, we may not always be able to help immediately.

For most enquiries

For non-urgent messages, updates or general enquiries, please use the contact form below. This is usually the best way to get in touch with us.

  • Reporting a stray cat
  • Requesting to rehome your cat
  • General questions about adoption or fostering

Please call us immediately if you are concerned about:

  • A cat that is ill or injured
  • Any cat at risk of severe suffering or death
  • A pregnant or nursing cat found outdoors and alone
  • Kittens under six months old seen outside without their mother

If we cannot answer, please leave a voicemail and a volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please be respectful to our volunteers at all times. Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in contact being ended.

Please note: We are unable to remove cats from owners or intervene in situations involving owned pets.

If you are concerned about cruelty or neglect, please contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999.
