Lily & Luna

Lily and Luna are beautiful 10-month-old sisters who are looking for a home together.

These two are full of fun, affection and energy. Luna is the more laid-back of the pair and tends to take life in her stride, while Lily is very much powered by chaos and curiosity. Together, they are double trouble in the best possible way.

Both girls are incredibly loving and enjoy fuss, head bumps and being involved in whatever their humans are doing. After a good session of racing around the house, they are more than happy to collapse dramatically onto a lap for cuddles.

Lily and Luna will need experienced owners who understand that young, energetic cats need plenty of stimulation, playtime and attention. They are not cats who will be happy being left with little to do, so their new home should have people around often enough to keep them entertained and offer plenty of affection.

They have only ever lived indoors, but once settled, they would really benefit from safe outdoor access to help burn off some of their energy. This will need to be introduced slowly and sensibly after their settling-in period.

Lily and Luna could live with children aged 7+ and may be able to live with other cats following careful introductions. They are not suitable to live with dogs.

If you are looking for two affectionate, hilarious and energetic sisters who will fill your home with love, laughter and the occasional unexplained midnight stampede, Lily and Luna could be the girls for you.

As Lily and Luna are to be homed together, their total adoption donation is £200 (£100 each)

We’re a foster-based charity, so each cat lives in a home environment before adoption. This helps us see how they cope with things like children, other cats, and dogs.

Because we don’t always know a cat’s full history (especially if they were a stray), our guidance is based on what we’ve observed in foster care. For example:

  • If a cat has lived happily with children, we’ll note they’re suitable for family homes.

  • If a cat is very timid and hasn’t been around children, we may suggest an adult-only home.

  • The same applies for cats and dogs — suitability depends on their behaviour and what we’ve seen first-hand.

As a foster-based rescue, when one cat is adopted their space is quickly filled by another in need. If a cat is adopted into an unsuitable home and has to return, it unsettles them and creates real challenges with our limited foster spaces.

We also believe that, where possible, cats should have safe access to the outdoors. Unless a cat is specifically listed as indoor-only, outdoor access is a requirement for adoption.

Our priority is always to match each cat with the home where they’ll feel safe, settled, and happy.
