Meet Bruce & Pickle, two brothers looking for their forever home together.
When Bruce and Pickle first arrived in foster care as stray kittens, they were frightened and unsure of the world around them. With patience, love and plenty of reassurance, they have blossomed into two wonderful little boys who are now ready to find a family of their own.
Bruce is the gentle sweetheart of the pair. He is always happy to see you, loves a fuss and has a purr that seems to switch on the moment you give him any attention. As his confidence continues to grow, he is sure to become a wonderfully affectionate companion.
Pickle is the cheeky one, with a mischievous personality to match his adorable face. He is playful, curious and loves exploring, but he is just as happy enjoying a gentle stroke and a good purr. If you’re preparing food, don’t be surprised if you feel a little tap on your ankle reminding you he is there.
The boys spend their days chasing toys, wrestling, exploring and then curling up together for a well-earned nap. Their bond is lovely to see, so they are looking for a home where they can stay together.
They would suit a family who can give them the time and patience to continue building their confidence. They may be a little shy at first, but once they realise they are safe, their playful and affectionate personalities really shine through.
Bruce and Pickle could live with calm, cat-savvy children aged 8 and over, another friendly cat, or even a calm, cat-friendly dog with careful introductions.
As a bonded pair, their adoption donation and kitten package apply to both kittens, so please take this into account when applying.
If you think Bruce and Pickle could be the perfect new additions to your family, we would love to hear from you.
Adoption donation of £160 each (kitten package)
We’re a foster-based charity, so each cat lives in a home environment before adoption. This helps us see how they cope with things like children, other cats, and dogs.
Because we don’t always know a cat’s full history (especially if they were a stray), our guidance is based on what we’ve observed in foster care. For example:
If a cat has lived happily with children, we’ll note they’re suitable for family homes.
If a cat is very timid and hasn’t been around children, we may suggest an adult-only home.
The same applies for cats and dogs — suitability depends on their behaviour and what we’ve seen first-hand.
As a foster-based rescue, when one cat is adopted their space is quickly filled by another in need. If a cat is adopted into an unsuitable home and has to return, it unsettles them and creates real challenges with our limited foster spaces.
We also believe that, where possible, cats should have safe access to the outdoors. Unless a cat is specifically listed as indoor-only, outdoor access is a requirement for adoption.
Our priority is always to match each cat with the home where they’ll feel safe, settled, and happy.
This kitten comes with our kitten package, which includes neutering, microchipping and the initial vaccinations.
Instead of applying for individual cats you can open a general adoption form here General Interest Form.
