Meet Eddie & Ellen – a perfectly mismatched, utterly devoted duo.
Eddie, a handsome black and white boy, and Ellen, a glamorous long-haired calico, are a young pair around 1–2 years old who share a truly special bond. They are looking for a forever home together, as they rely on each other for comfort and companionship. Wherever one goes, the other is never far behind.
Ellen is the confident half of the pair and very much enjoys being the centre of attention. She is affectionate, playful, and full of character. If she notices Eddie getting fuss, she is more than happy to step in and remind you exactly where your attention should be. She brings plenty of personality and a little bit of cheeky charm to the home.
Eddie is a much gentler, more sensitive soul. When he first arrived in foster care, he was quite nervous and unsure, but with time and patience he has begun to show his sweet and affectionate nature. He will need understanding adopters who are happy to give him the time he needs to settle and build confidence. Once he feels safe, he is a loving companion who enjoys being close by.
Neither Eddie nor Ellen are lap cats at present, but they both enjoy being near their people. You will often find them curled up in a cosy bed nearby, quietly keeping you company. Their affection is calm and steady, and they will reward patience with trust and companionship.
Due to Eddie’s sensitive nature, they are looking for a calm, quiet home with children aged 12 and over. They would prefer to be the only pets, as other animals may be overwhelming for him.
In return, Eddie and Ellen will bring warmth, companionship, and plenty of character into your home, along with a touch of humour thanks to Ellen’s perfectly timed interruptions.
They are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea and worm treated. They will require outdoor access once fully settled in their new home.
Adoption donation applies at £90 per cat, totalling £180 for the pair.
Partially Vaccinated: The first vaccination has been completed. The second will need to be arranged and covered by the new owner.
We’re a foster-based charity, so each cat lives in a home environment before adoption. This helps us see how they cope with things like children, other cats, and dogs.
Because we don’t always know a cat’s full history (especially if they were a stray), our guidance is based on what we’ve observed in foster care. For example:
If a cat has lived happily with children, we’ll note they’re suitable for family homes.
If a cat is very timid and hasn’t been around children, we may suggest an adult-only home.
The same applies for cats and dogs — suitability depends on their behaviour and what we’ve seen first-hand.
As a foster-based rescue, when one cat is adopted their space is quickly filled by another in need. If a cat is adopted into an unsuitable home and has to return, it unsettles them and creates real challenges with our limited foster spaces.
We also believe that, where possible, cats should have safe access to the outdoors. Unless a cat is specifically listed as indoor-only, outdoor access is a requirement for adoption.
Our priority is always to match each cat with the home where they’ll feel safe, settled, and happy.
Instead of applying for individual cats you can open a general adoption form here General Interest Form.
